Strategic support of an Austrian deep tech startup in the space sector – from the early development phase to the investor round.

How a DeepTech startup with patented technology structured its founding process, built an investor network and successfully onboarded its first investors – all within 8 months.

Starting Situation

The founding team possessed exceptional technological depth: patented high-performance propulsion systems, validated in over 8,000 successful tests under real-world conditions. A technology with international market potential – and a clear ambition to provide the next generation of mobility infrastructure.

What was missing was the entrepreneurial structure: the founding process was not yet complete, investor contacts had yet to be established, and the network of strategically relevant backers in the DeepTech ecosystem did not yet exist.

Communication Strategy in the Early Founding Phase

During the first two to three months after incorporation, a targeted communication strategy was developed: positioning the company towards investors, partners and the market, building a consistent external presence, and crafting the messaging and storyline for early stakeholder conversations.
